FAQs

Sheepadoodles are known to be low-non shedding dogs.  While nobody can guarantee any dog to be hypoallergenic or non-shedding, generally the sheepadoodle does not cause problems for people with animal fur allergies.  Sheepadoodle loose/dead hair will come off on a comb just like with people who have a lot of hair.

Sheepadoodles are active and friendly with the desire to be part of the family.  They are extremely affectionate, loyal and depending on how much sheep dog they have in their make-up, will herd the family around.  They tend to be great with kids as they are big kids themselves.  Their sweet disposition makes them a great choice for families with children…. even the little ones.

Our sheepadoodle puppies currently cost $1,900. Our cost will be increasing to $2,500 per puppy with the 2025 summer litter due to increases to the cost of care.

Yes, your puppy will be up-to-date on all vaccines on adoption day with a record of vaccines and deworming medication to present to your local vet.

Our sheepadoodle puppies are meant to be family pets and therefore we do not offer breeding rights.  Please note that in our adoption contract we have a spay/neuter requirement for all our puppies.

Yes. Once the puppies arrive, approved applicants will receive weekly development photos and videos of the puppies.  During the first 6 weeks we will monitor and log each puppy’s temperament and personality.  When the puppies are 6 weeks old we will invite all applicants to spend time with the puppies at our home on a designated day/time.  During this matchmaking event you can ask questions and have a good time with each puppy in order to make the best choice.  Note that the order in which applicants choose their puppy will be determined by the order in which we receive reservation fees for that litter.  If you cannot attend this matchmaking event, we will schedule a live video session so you can pick out your puppy.
